I am a co-host of the Radio Westeros podcast (support us here!) a book lover who’s spent most of my adult life sharing good books with people in any way I can, a student of history, and a writer. George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series is my focus here, with areas of interest including R+L=J, the Great Northern Conspiracy, Sansa Stark, Arthurian parallels in ASoIaF, character analysis and a variety of other topics. I consult all of GRRM’s published works in my research, and occasionally reference unpublished sample chapters from The Winds of Winter. If you don’t care for spoilers, considered yourself warned!

Looking forward to it, as well as hubby. 🙂
Just listened to the first episode of the podcast and have to say, it’s the most interesting and entertaining podcast of all related to the Song of Ice and Fire.
Thanks for this it’s a real breath of fresh air.
Thanks so much for listening and for the kind words! We’ve put quite a lot of effort forth to provide something unique… it’s great to hear that it’s appreciated! Hope you stay with us for future episodes 🙂
Cheers!
Love your podcast! U 2 keep up the good Work! Love from the Netherlands!
Thanks Rick! Glad you’re enjoying it. Cheers from Westeros 😉
There’s a problem. Ever since the podcasts began I’ve been trying to get on yolkboy’s site to read his essays but the page doesn’t appear at all in my browser. It loads completely but is always completely blank. Is there some other place where I can read his essays?
I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble accessing tearsofblood.org. It sounds like a browser issue… if you google “page won’t load” you get a variety of browser specific help topics that offer possible fixes. We’ve tried it on Firefox, IE and Safari and it seems fine on our end. That said, you can read a number of yolkboy’s essays on our tumblr http://radiowesteros.tumblr.com. Hope that helps! 🙂
Sorry I didn’t thank you sooner for that link. It’s brilliant and solves all my problems. Thank you.
I love the show am will continue to be a huge fan, tjamk you!!!!
Nice to hear! Thanks for that 🙂
Radio Westeros is far and away the best ASoIaF podcast I have listened to. Fantastic and well researched information and I appreciate the unique style with which you and Yolkboy deliver it in. Thank you very much for all your efforts.
Thank you! Very glad you appreciate it and took the time to comment. Cheers! 🙂
Such an excellent podcast. Possibly my favorite and I listen to History of Westeros, so thats saying something. The chemistry between hosts is unparalleled. Only downfall is the monthly releases. How can we make this more frequent??
Thanks so much Tom! Because of the level of research and production we put in, we average about thirty minutes of content per week. It would be hard to improve upon that without quitting our day jobs, something that sadly isn’t in the offing just yet 😉
But, as long as we have enthusiastic listeners we’ll continue with an episode every 3-4 weeks.
Thanks again for the comment!
Cheers-
LG
Just discovered your podcast and it is amazing. The production is top notch and your knowledge of the series is staggering. Keep ip the phenomenal work!
Obviously meant to say keep UP good work.
Found your podcast through History of Westeros and I just wanted to say that I am loving it. I really admire and appreciate the depth that you and Yolkboy put into your analysis and I’m sure it takes quite a bit of work. I feel like I am aware of so many aspects of asoiaf that I missed before by listening to your podcast. Looking forward to future episodes!
Thanks very much for that! We appreciate your words of support & hope you continue to enjoy 🙂
Found the podcast several weeks ago and am thrilled with the production and details. Also glad to see you both on the History of Westeros, my other favorite. Keep up the excellent work!
Thanks Kay! Sorry for the delay in replying, but very glad to hear you’re enjoying the podcast. Lots of exciting stuff in the works, including more collaboration with HoW. Hope you stay with us!
LADY GWYN! I love the podcast!

I try to check your podcast for a new episode every few weeks to try and catch it on the day a new episode comes out. Let’s just say these next few weeks leading up to the season 6 premiere I will be checking daily. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for commenting Q! I hope you’re finding us doing show reviews over at History of Westeros podcast. Just recorded another one tonight. Hope you enjoy. Cheers! -LG

Am I the only one that says that in sync with the girl ?
Love yr essays!!
Thank you so much for such a great podcast! I discovered it several months ago and have listened to the favorite ones over and over again. Can’t wait for the new one.
Thanks so much! We should have a new one out within a couple weeks 🙂
In one of the episodes I listened to, it was said that you find Jon Snow following the King Arthur theme. I am a bit of an Arthurian historian and find a fair bit of Arthuriana in GoT. I would love to hear an episode based on such as well as other parts of history that GRRM uses, like the seven kingdoms comeing from the seven Saxon kingdoms of old and the Welsh, as well as the war of the roses. If we could talk as well about the same subject I would enjoy it. Thank you and I hope this finds you well.
Thanks so much for the comment! One day we hope to do that type of episode, although exactly when will come down to how long the TWoW wait ends up being. Much as we love analyzing every aspect of these books, I’m sure we all hope that won’t be too much longer 🙂
Radio Westeros is my second longest relationship. Ha ha. Always look forward to the episodes…still my number 1 YouTube alert.
Thank you! 🙂
It’s Reece not received. Bloody predicted text. Haha
